Meet the Buyer™ is Western Australia’s biggest and most diverse gathering of local food and drink businesses in one location. The event brings together producers, buyers, distributors, chefs, sommeliers, and industry partners for a full day of connection and commerce at Crown Grand Ballroom, Crown Perth.
The trade floor features hundreds of products, ingredients, and brands from across the State. From familiar WA favourites to emerging producers and innovators, the event showcases the full breadth and quality of WA’s food and beverage sector.
More than 600 visitors attend each year. Independent feedback shows that 67 per cent of attendees connected with buyers or contacts they had not previously accessed, 83 per cent discovered new products or businesses, and more than half secured commercial value through new partnerships, market access, or relationships.

When the trade show closes, the Networking Forum gives exhibitors, buyers, and industry guests the opportunity to continue conversations in a relaxed setting. Network with retail and foodservice buyers, independent specialists, distributors, and sommeliers over light canapes and drinks. Complimentary access is included with your ticket.
Buy West Eat Best champions local producers, connecting them with consumers via a trusted brand and strengthening their market presence. Eighty-one per cent of West Australians are aware of the program and three out of four actively look for the logo when shopping. Shoppers consistently perceive WA-made products as fresher and higher quality than imports, and their preference to support local businesses and families drives market demand. For producers, the program converts that consumer loyalty into tangible commercial opportunity.
