With local producers being hit by high prices and ongoing labour shortages, there must be more networking opportunities to help them get a foot in the door of WA’s major supermarkets.
That is according to manager of food industry development at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, Deborah Pett, who said that regional producers were still struggling post-COVID.
