WA food and beverage producers are proving resilient to economic headwinds by taking challenging trading conditions and turning it into opportunities for growth and innovation.
That is according to Deborah Pett, manager of food industry development at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, who says there has been “enormous collaboration and collective effort” within WA’s $8 billion food and beverage since the COVID-19 pandemic.
